It was 20 degrees with the windchill, but this family charged on.
Think Mel Gibson in Braveheart, but prettier.
We decided on a 'snap and run' (which I tell more about in this blog INSERT) which was absolutely necessary for everyone to 1.) stay happy and 2.) avoid frostbite, which I'm not sure could have happened, but it definitely felt possible.
I couldn't feel my fingers after the first 30 minutes, so I laid heavy on my camera trigger, and if I could describe in text what I saw while sorting through images to edit...it would just be a paragraph of
WWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW.
Jeni's picturesque windblown hair, the emotion, the sun flares blasting around them.
I knew this was going to be one for the record books.
I could not WAIT to show Jeni the incredible moments we had captured in such crummy weather, and we spent the evening designing multiple layouts of her beautiful gallery.
Honestly with moments like these of my family, I'd probably just make it wallpaper.
It was SO WORTH THE COLD!
Stay connected (and warm!!!), friends!
